Remarks: Panda uaru (Uaru fernandezyepezi) are fairly peaceful South American cichlids that make excellent tankmates for Severums, Angelfish, and Geophagus. Adults have round, silver bodies with black, vertical bars near their back half and over their red eyes. They are native to the Orinoco river basin in South America and do best when kept in warm, soft, acidic, black water like their native habitat.
